Office 2021 Professional Plus – Installation & Activation Instructions

This quick guide will help you download, install, and activate Microsoft Office 2021 Professional Plus on your Windows PC.

What You Need Before Starting

Make sure you have:

• A valid Office 2021 Professional Plus key
• A Windows 10 or Windows 11 PC
• An internet connection
• Access to a Microsoft Account (free)

That’s all – you’re ready!

Step 1 – Download Office 2021

Option A – Download from Microsoft (Recommended)

1. Go to https://setup.office.com/
2. Sign in with your Microsoft Account.
3. Enter your Office 2021 product key.
4. Choose your language.
5. Click Download.

Your Office installer (.exe file) will now download to your Downloads folder.

Option B – Download the Official ISO (Alternative)

If the Microsoft setup page doesn’t work or you prefer an ISO file, you can use the official Microsoft download links.

Step 2 – Install Office 2021

1. Open the downloaded file: Setup.exe
2. If Windows asks: “Do you want to allow this app to make changes?” – Click Yes.
3. The installation will begin automatically.
4. Wait until you see the message:
   “You’re all set! Office is installed now.”
5. Click Close.

That’s it – Office is installed on your PC!

Step 3 – Activate Office 2021

Automatic Activation

1. Open Word, Excel, or any Office app.
2. If asked, sign in with the same Microsoft Account you used earlier.
3. Office will activate automatically.

Enter the Key Manually (if prompted)

If the activation window appears:

1. Click Enter Product Key.
2. Type your 25-character Office key.
3. Click Activate.

How to Check if Activation Worked

1. Open any Office app (e.g., Word).
2. Go to File > Account.
3. Look for Product Activated under Product Information.
